I'm watching the OSU football spring game right now. If you're unaware, this is simply an intrasquad scrimmage played every year at the Shoe. It's basically practice, except 60,000 people show up to watch. Yeah, we're serious about football. I decided not to go this year, out of pure laziness, but it's on TV (again, we're serious.) When I went to the game my freshman year, it was freezing cold and raining. So naturally, since I decided not to go today, it's gorgeous outside.
Later, I'll probably go out to west campus to watch a friend of mine play softball in a tournament. I'm not real excited about it, but I'm told "it will mean a lot to her." This is something I don't understand. Why do people care if there are people watching them? I mean, shouldn't they be focused on the game? I know whenever I did any sporting event, I was completely unaware of what was happening outside of the game. Yet people even want an audience when they're swimming, when there's no way you know people are cheering for you, with your head being underwater much of the time and whatnot.
What I should be doing: studying for o-chem exam, and the MCAT
