My motivation for starting this blog is to organize my thoughts, share some interesting things I've seen/read, and hone my writing skills. There certainly won't be any cohesive theme to posts, because I certainly don't have cohesive interests. I'll probably talk about philosophy, politics, sports, economics, math, career-searching, or whatever else pops into my brain.
Why Baffled Buckeye? Well, first I'm a buckeye, both in the sense that I was born and raised in Ohio and that I'm a student at Ohio State. I'm baffled because I am near a crossroads in my life, deciding what the hell I'll do for the next few decades. Perhaps I will someday not be baffled, but I'm not counting on it.
